Davis formed a management consulting company, Management Methods, now in its third decade. His firm specializes in showing companies how to be the low cost, high quality, environmentally responsible and safety conscious leader in their industry. Since 1991 his firm has been involved in helping companies achieve certification to the ISO 9000 series of QMS Standards; and later the AS 9100 and ISO 13485 series of quality management standards; since 1998, the ISO 14001 environmental management standard; since 2003 the Pharmaceutical GMP Requirements; as well as the ISO 17025 Laboratory Standard, MIL Q-9858A standard; and ISO 14012 Metrology Standard; and, since its recent release the ANSI Z-10 Employee Safety and Health Standard. He has guided implementation processes for organizations in both manufacturing and service sectors. From Burlington, Vermont to Kuantan, Malaysia Davis' clients include GM, Amoco, BP, Cooper Industries, 3M, Tyco and many other large and small companies. He has spoken for dozens of associations such as NRECA, NAPM, NPCA, AHMA, TECMA, IWF, IBFI, PERA, WCMA and NDMA.
Davis is a nationally published author with over three dozen articles to his credit. His articles have been published in national and trade publications, as well as the prestigious Encyclopedia of Chemical Engineering. He developed the video “Focus on Fundamentals—a Manager's Guide to the Ten Essentials” which aired on Business Vision Network, along with programs by Dr. W. Edwards Deming, Tom Peters and Ken Blanchard. His book, Taking Care of the Basics, 101 Success Factors for Managers was released in late 2005.
He has been listed in Outstanding Young Men of America and Who's Who Worldwide Registry of Business Leaders. He has been a member of the Institute of Management Consultants since 1990.
Davis is a husband and father, first and foremost. He has been married since 1970 and has two daughters, a son-in-law and two grandchildren. He is actively involved with his family, in his church and community. |
